Longhope Opera 2023 – La Cenerentola by Rossini

Rehearsals: 5 – 29 June
Performances: 30 June, 1 July, 2 July

We are currently looking for singers to perform the roles of Don Ramiro, Dandini, Don Magnifico and the male chorus in our upcoming summer production of La Cenerentola at Longhope Opera.

 Scherzo Ensemble is a professional development platform which offers paid opportunities to singers aged 20-30.  Our annual projects include an interdisciplinary oratorio tour, solo and ensemble recitals, and a fully-staged opera production at the Longhope estate in Hampshire.

Rehearsals will take place in London from 5 – 24 June before a week of technical rehearsals and performances on site in Newton Valence, Hampshire. Transport to/from Longhope and accommodation and meals whilst at Longhope are provided.

Fees
Principals – £1000-£1200 depending on the role
Chorus – £500

You may also include a contrasting characterful/comedic song or aria.
