This summer, we are delighted to present our fifth production at Longhope Opera. Join us on Saturday 6th, and Sunday 7th July 2024 for performances of Donizetti's roaring comedy, Don Pasquale.
Longhope Opera, an Italian Bel Canto festival hosted at the picturesque country house in Newton Valence, Hampshire, has been enchanting audiences since 2019. The festivities begin two hours prior to the show, allowing guests ample time to savour refreshments, explore the grounds, and enjoy chamber music performances. A drinks reception follows, where you can relish a glass of fizz and soak in the celebratory atmosphere before taking your seats in the auditorium. A leisurely 90-minute dining interval follows the first act, during which you can partake in several dining experiences.
